The Rustic Fish Gallery is located in Door County, Wis., a peninsula in the northeast part of the state that boasts 250 miles of shoreline and acres of forests and meadows. The area also is home to a variety of artists -- watercolorists, potters, woodworkers, photographers and others -- who draw their inspiration from the natural beauty of their surroundings.

The Rustic Fish Gallery is owned by Door County artists Mary Ann and Erik Rinkleff. We feature Erik's hand-carved, collectible wood carvings and Mary Ann's inspirational greeting card line and fine art photography.  We also offer items from other Midwest artists.

Handcrafted. Inspired by nature. Finely finished.

These are the hallmarks of Rustic Road Studio.

Door County artist Erik Rinkleff carefully crafts hand-carved, collectible Santas, snowmen and other characters one piece at a time, resulting in a treasure that will last a lifetime.

Visit Erik’s studio and gallery to see his collection of classic pieces carved in the Scandinavian flat-plane tradition. Erik crafts each one-of-a-kind original from butternut or basswood harvested in Wisconsin, and he carefully paints and finishes each piece by hand.

When Door County photographer Mary Ann Rinkleff launched Little Fish Studios in 2002, she selected images from among her own unique photographs and paired them with quotations chosen with similar care. She sold the classically simple and inspirational notecards at art fairs and a handful of shops in Door County.

Today, Little Fish is one of the country’s fastest-growing inspirational greeting card companies, with hundreds of retailers across the United States and Canada.

Visit the gallery and browse our complete selection of greeting cards, blank notecards, boxed notes and Christmas cards.  We also feature fine art prints -- oversized canvas gallery wraps and a variety of matted prints.
