Longshadow Woodworks

In 1995, Courtney and Aryn Kern met in Ely, Minn., and they have been together ever since. In 2006, the pair combined Courtney’s woodworking skills with Aryn’s artistic eye to create Longshadow Woodworks. They currently reside in Little Falls, Minn. After several years as a professional woodworker, Courtney realized the value that remained in wood manufacturing cast-offs. Longshadow Woodworks reclaims these ‘waste’ woods, creating beautiful and functional handmade wood products. Each piece of wood is hand selected for its grain and character and is then laminated, planed, shaped, sanded and finished. Since reclaimed hardwoods are used, each piece is unique.
