hello
DiDaArtists Diane Graves and David Farnsworth combine years of friendship and artistic collaboration to create enchanting and meaningful handmade
images to adorn the home and raise the spirit. These “medalbilia” can be given as a gift, a medal, a memory, a valentine, a keepsake, a package tie, a yahtzee prize, a party favor, a forget-me-not, a word of hope, a thank you, an I love you. The original designs are etched onto fine copper sheeting and then tumbled and glazed to a warm, rich patina. all pieces are coated with an acrylic sealer to preserve the patina.
Brick Pond HandworksMary DeCaprio, a classically trained artist, founded Brick Pond Handworks in 1988. Brick Pond is one of the Massachusetts potteries that continue the tradition of the original Dedham Pottery, made in Massachusetts during the American arts and crafts movement and known for its high-fire stoneware, crackle glaze and thick cobalt borders. Each Brick Pond creation is made entirely by hand. Low-fired earthenware clay is rolled into a slab from which each design is hand-cut. Once cured, each piece is wiped to smooth any rough edges and then hand-painted. Finally, the ornaments are bisque-fired and glazed.
