Dotti PottsCanadian ceramic artist Sandra Silberman is the designer and maker of Dotti Potts Jewelery. Together with her husband, Gavin Silberman, they run the Dotti Potts Studio in Ontario, Canada. The studio has been in operation since 1995. Besides making jewelery items, the studio also
produces a line of porcelain serving and eating ware, as well as decorative items. Sandra is an active artist, engaging herself in unique projects, such as producing ceramic quilts. She also has an interest in print making. Dotti Potts jewelry is fashionable, pretty and fun. It’s also very durable. The images on each piece - and the pieces themselves - are original designs by Sandra.

This distinctive jewelry collection begins from copper and brass sheet. The pieces are designed and fabricated in the northern New York studio
of artist Gina Wells and her family. They cut, file, sand, drill, solder, decorate and patina each piece by hand. The figures on some of the pieces are formed from wire, sandwiched between two sheets of metal, and put through a rolling mill. This impresses the figure into the metal, and the piece is then put through the patina process to add color. The figure is highlighted when part of the patina is cleared away. All of Gina’s jewelry is covered with a protective coating, making it durable and easy to care for.
Momo GlassworksRosario Torres was born in 1977 in Tandil, Argentina. A neighbor introduced her to glass, and Rosario has been a devotee ever since. Her inspirations range from the natural world to the lush compositions of Gustav Klimt, Hundertwasser and Monet. Rosario met Edo Mor on a midsummer night in Andalucia (Spain), and glass became a shared obsession. Today, the husband-wife team live in Northampton, Mass. After the glass is cut into the desired shape, enamels are painted onto the glass surface. Enamels are blends of metal oxides, and Rosario and Edo make some enamels themselves to fine-tune texture, opacity and hue. After the enamel dries, each piece is painstakingly detailed with inclusions such as copper, mica and aluminum. A second round of enamels is applied. The pieces are then fired, sometimes multiple times.
